Horoscope part Twenty-Five

Taylor’s POV:I glared at Cody as we appeared back in the main building. Cody stood there with Evan, Martin, Libra and Virgo. Evan suddenly lifted me up.“Come on, we’re leaving. Now that your friends know where we are, we have to re-locate.” He stated simply. I began kicking away when suddenly I heard a voice.“Stop.” Fallon barked. Evan grinned.“Trying to play the hero?” Evan asked. Fallon glared at him.“I’m not trying to do anything but the right thing!” He shouted, suddenly transforming. But he wasn’t in his usual Capricorn form. His body was covered in armour as his eyes changed to a brighter red with blue encircling his pupil. A large claymore was now in his hands, covered in blue flames. He glared at them. Virgo stepped forward to stop them, but she was sliced in half but his sword. Virgo’s corpse fell to the ground with a hideous thud. I stared at the body in horror. Markus suddenly stepped out, kicking Evan in the face. He quickly grabbed me and looked at Fallon.“Come on, we’ve got to go!” He stated. Fallon shook his head.“Libra’s going to stop time. I’ve got to kill them all first,” He stated. Libra grinned as he started at Markus and I, but Fallon stepped in front, stabbing him through the middle. Libra coughed up a bit of blood and looked towards Evan, but Evan just stared back, unmoved. Fallon turned to Evan and looked back at us.“Markus, take good care of Taya, you hear? If you hurt her, then I’ll never forgive you…” Fallon muttered. Markus shook his head.“I’m not leaving without you!” He shouted. Fallon glared at me.“Miss cancer doesn’t like blood. Take her home. And if I die, they’ll come after you. Who will protect our princess then?” He asked. Markus sighed, picking me up.“Be careful, Fallon.” He stated. Fallon nodded. I watched Fallon dissapear from my sight as we exited. Saul, Katie, Mara, Cassie and Taurus were all standing there, staring at us. I felt something tearing from the pit of my stomach and suddenly screamed. Markus looked at me strangely as tears streamed down my face.“Taya, what’s wrong?” He asked. I shook my head.“I feel like… like a part of me was just devoured by darkness…” I panted. Markus held me tightly.“It’s okay Taya… He’s okay…” Markus whispered. I nodded, though I was unsure as to how true that statement truly was. If I could feel something… then surely that meant…

Fallon’s POV:I lunged at Evan, my sword out. He grinned at me, moving his hand out as I neared him. I let out a loud yell. This was for everything he had put me through. This was for everything he had done. This was for Markus and Taylor… this was for my dad. I gritted my teeth as I grew closer and closer, my blade feeling lighter and lighter. I felt my heart pound.

Fallon…

I gritted my teeth. No. Not now! Evan grinned as he watched me fall to the ground. I felt the darkness twisting in my stomach, engulfing the entirety of my body. I reached out as I felt my heart pounding slower and slower, the darkness beginning to take over… dark ancient spirits… were truly… bastards…you didn’t think that after all of this I would leave you alone, did you?I felt my consciousness dwindle down into nothing as everything went black

Horoscope part Twenty-Four

Katie’s POV:When I entered through the door, I found myself on the pirate ship. I looked around. What the heck was going on? I stared forward and spotted Taylor on the center of the ride, tied to it. She stared at me, looking freaked. I knew that she hated being on this ride. At least it wasn’t… moving? I felt the ride suddenly jostle as it began swinging back and forth. Cody suddenly appeared on the other side. I stood up angrily, then sat back down, feeling like I was going to fall out. He grinned.“Come on Katie. You want to protect your leader don’t you?” He asked. I glared at him.“Cody, what are you doing? I thought you cared about us. All of us!” I shouted, turning into my leo form. I found it much easier to balance once I had my cat-reflexes. I ran at him and gripped his shirt.“Don’t you have any remorse at all when you hurt us?” I asked. Cody sighed“more than you’ll ever know. But that doesn’t matter. I… just have to keep going or else.” He stated. I looked at him.“Or else what?” I asked. Cody shook his head.“It’s not important Katie.” He snarled, blasting me back with fire. Taylor cringed as a bit singed her ass. I glared at Cody.“What the hell Cody? Calm down you just killed Taylor’s butt!” I shouted. Cody shrugged.“Sorry tails. Anyways, Katie. Stop putting this off and fight me.” He snarled. I glared at him angrily.“I don’t want to Cody…” I muttered. Cody grinned. I looked over at Taylor, noticing her face was turning green.“Can you let her go? She’s gonna puke…” I stated. Cody smirked.“Beat me first” He stated. I sighed. Well… I knew it was either me or him so… I lunged at Cody, my claws out. He dodged and I flew onto the edge of the boat, gripping on with my claws as I scrambled to get back on. Cody stood in front of me, grinning widely. I glared at him as he started crushing my hands. I winced in pain, trying to hold on, but it was too hard. I gritted my teeth, pulling away and dropping. Before I hit the ground, I felt something holding me up. Water… water from the ground was pushing me up to the side of the boat. I grinned. Taylor. I climbed up the side, peering over the edge. Cody stood there, enjoying the ride, but looking slightly upset. I leapt up onto the side of the boat, smacking him in the face.“Miss me, bitch?” I snarled. Cody spun around, but I furiously blasted fire at him, knocking him into the next row of seats. I leapt down and grabbed him, but he too grabbed me. We both started angrily hitting back and forth. I suddenly smacked Cody hard enough that he fell into the pole. He stared back at me and grinned, grabbing Taylor’s foot. I stared at him and began running after him, but he quickly turned into flames and vanished with Taylor. I cursed as another door appeared. I sighed and leapt through it.

Horoscope part Twenty-Three

Saul’s POV:I entered through, feeling the sudden chill of the summer night… but summer shouldn’t be cold, should it? I stared at the carousel, stepping onto it and looking around. I heard a muffled noise. Crossing the marry-go-round, I spotted Taylor, her hands tied onto the pole attached to the white rabbit. I stepped towards her, but was blocked by the other Scorpio.“Come on, little boy.” He sneered, throwing a blast of ice at the ride, making it go at a reasonable pace. I grinned, turning into my scorpion form and stepping towards him, grinning.“This should be fun.” I snarled. His grin spread even wider as he lunged at me, his claws out. I quickly spun around, shooting my tail out at him. He dodged it gracefully and swung at my neck. I attempted to dodge the attack, but I quickly realized that my tail was now stuck into the ride. I gripped it as his claw grazed the side of my head, causing a trickle of blood to run down. He smirked.“You okay, little boy?” He asked. I grinned at him.“Fuck you.” I snarled, pulling my tail back out of the ground and blasting an ice beam at him. He dodged it, causing the ice to hit the controls and make it spin out of control. Scorpio grinned darkly.“Isn’t this fun?” He asked. I glared at him.“If you don’t want to die, then let her go” I stated. Scorpio smirked, tapping my nose.“Silly little boy. It’s not that I don’t want to die. I do. But if you can’t defeat me then I’m going to look to someone else for the sweet release from life.” He stated. I smacked him across the face.“You moron. Trust me you don’t want to die” I snarled. Scorpio glared at me, striking me across my face. I touched my lip, feeling the wet sensation of blood. “You don’t know what I’ve gone through…” He snarled. I spun around just in time to dodge another attack from him. He turned to me, his hand turning into ice as he swung it at me. I caught it in my fists as I turned back into a normal human.“Stop. I’ve been through enough. Stop being a stuck up bitch!” I shouted, tossing him off of the ride. He grinned as the ride slowed. His mangled body was leaning against the fence of the ride. I stared at him in horror. Scorpio smirked.“You lose…” He muttered, stabbing himself in the wrist with his tail. I just stared at what used to be another Scorpio. but wait… what did he mean by “I lose”? I spun around, noticing that Taylor was no longer on the ride. Shit. A door suddenly appeared on the carousel. Swallowing my sorrow, I walked in through the door.

Horoscope Part Twenty-two

“So, now what?” Mara’s voice echoed throughout the entirety of the room. I shook my head, looking from side to side.“Well, there’s a door at the end of my hall, So maybe one of the doors will lead here” I stated. I heard the rushing of feet, then nothing. I sighed, turning to face my door. What laid beyond it? I never found out because I was instantly knocked out.When I awoke, I was in a hall of mirrors with Virgo. I looked at my hands. Cuffed again. And my feet as well. I glared at Virgo and attempted to send a stream of swear words at her, but was stopped my a scarf that was tightly wound around my mouth. I stuck with just glaring at her. She rolled her eyes and looked around, irritated. “Where is he…” She muttered. I raised an eyebrow at her. Virgo simply stared onward.“Hey. Sorry I’m late.” A voice called out. I turned and stared, shocked at who had stepped in.Mara’s POV:I entered the door, looking around. Where was I? All I saw were mirrors… I reached forward, but felt a smooth substance beneath my hand. crap. I thought the house of mirrors in play land was crap… but this one was good! Wait… that meant- Before I could even react, I was hit across the face into a mirror. It shattered as my bruised human body hit the ground. I gritted my teeth as I stood up, but before I could summon my inner energy, I was hit again. I looked up just in time to see a figure go back into the mirror. The other Gemini! I closed my eyes quickly and summoned my inner strength, then turned around, gripping his fist. He just stared at me as his other hand came up and blasted me with wind. I fell back through the next few mirrors before I regained my balance… now where was he. I looked around me as two of him appeared. Crap. Which one was real? I quickly leapt into a vacant mirror and ran to try and find a place to summon my duplicate before I was dead. I felt something grip my arm. I turned around and saw Gemini staring back at me. Thinking fast, I kicked him in the shin and dashed off. As I ran I saw Taylor.“Taylor!” I cried, pulling my duplicate out with me. Taylor looked up at me, but she was tied and gagged. Before I could even try to help her I heard a loud THUMP. I turned around to see my clone fall onto the ground and disappear as Gemini glared at us.“No cheating…” He muttered. I glared at him.“Fine. Then that means you have to fight me fair and square. Without your double.” I snarled. He grinned slightly and nodded.“Deal.” He stated, fading back into the mirror. I dashed into another mirror, fading through to the other side. No one there. I ran back into the mirror and appeared in another area. No one there- wait. It suddenly occurred to me. The mirror world. I leapt back into the mirror and onto the other side… in my sense. I stared into the smoke that surrounded me. That was all this world was. Grey smoke. I dashed down into the smoke blindly as I held up my hands, prepared to fight at any moment. I heard a sudden laugh.“You know, this is where we’re supposed to live for all eternity. This is where we were born and where we will die. All we are is smoke and mirrors… and I mean that for all of us… not just Gemini” He stated. I spun around, unable to see him. I sighed, closing my eyes.“We aren’t illusions. We’re gifted…” I muttered. I could practically see him smiling.“Okay then. Why doesn’t Zeus show himself to us to show us the way?” He asked. I smiled calmly.“Hera comes to us.” I stated. I heard a silence then-“She does… well… isn’t that something…” He muttered. I felt a sudden blade at my throat.“I’m sorry, other Gemini, but rules are rules. One of us must die and im afraid it wont be me.” He stated. I smirked as my eyes opened slowly and I pulled my hand away from his stomach. I gripped his wrist and pulled him away from my throat as blood spilt down his clothes. He looked up at me in shock, then to the medium sized shard of glass that was now plunged into his stomach. He sighed mouthing something as he slumped back and we appeared in the real world. His blood was smeared across the mirror. He looked up at me.“If you love someone… don’t let them go…” He muttered, coughing up a bit of blood. His eyes suddenly dulled. I turned away, my heart feeling heavy… I killed someone… like me. Gripping my head, I phased through the mirror to find Taylor. But she was already gone…

Horoscope Part Twenty-one

“What do you mean?” I asked. Evan sighed shaking his head.“I mean that turning you into your cancer form wasn’t my true intention. You see, because you’re the moon you have an extra form from everyone else. Your darkness form. It can only be brought out by driving one over the edge. Good night Cancer.” Evan stated, all the lights suddenly turning out. I smirked.“I’m not afraid of the dark, you moron” I stated. I felt the top opening and heard raindrops hitting the water. Rain? What was so bad about… I froze as I saw a flash of light. Crap. Thunder. I cringed as I covered my ears, hitting my head against the wall as I backed into the corner. I felt the tank shake as I sat in the corner. I looked around, trying to find a way to escape. I looked at my claw and smashed it into the side of the tank. Nothing. I smashed it into the glass again. Still nothing.“Is this fucking shatter proof?” I snarled. I began repeatedly smashing my claws into the side of the tank. I felt the small glass cage shake violently around me which caused me to hit harder. I couldn’t be in here without anyone to help me. I felt something swell up within me as I saw my reflection in the side of the tank as another bolt of lightning came crashing down. My eyes had turned an orangey-yellow coral colour. I gritted my teeth as I shook the thoughts of destruction away. I had to remain calm. If I kept this up, who knows what would happen. I huddled myself into the corner and hugged my knees. It was the same way I got over everything before. I felt my eyes closing slowly. I suddenly leapt up as I saw the glass falling around me and the water releasing, causing it to crash down around me and spread across the floor. Everyone stared at the boy who stood before me. Fallon. I stared at him as he just stared at me. He turned around, his eyes darkening as he transformed.“Forcing something upon someone is sick. Especially a woman. With you, I had no regrets, or so I thought. Now, I’m done with you,” He looked up at the sky, “And I’m done with you, you dick-less asshole!” His eyes turned back to me, “I’m sorry for what I’ve done wrong. Now get out before it’s too late.” he stated. I nodded and grabbed his wrist, dashing in the other direction of the dark horoscopes. I felt my heart thundering as I felt Fallon’s hand slip from mine“I can’t… I’m sorry. I can never go back for what I’ve done now…” He muttered. I turned around, but there was nothing but an arrow left in blue flames, slowly dying. I looked at the direction in which it was pointing and followed until I came to a large room with many levels. On one side was a door, but only one door. But looking up I counted about fifty pathways all reaching up towards the surface. I sighed, dashing forward. It was only a matter of time before I came to… the… top? I looked around me as I entered the other side. Why was I on the ceiling? I looked up and saw Saul, Mara, Cassie, Katie and Markus below me.“Hey! Up here!” I called. They all looked up.“Holy shit how did you get up there?” Saul asked. I shrugged.“If your willing to believe that we gained special powers that also gave us awesome kung-fu abilities and that theres a hide-out underneath play land… wait how did you get here?” I asked. Cassie smirked.“Well, you sent out a distress call and we saw thunder, so using Saul and we followed the source of water and sudden density in the air to here.” Cassie explained. I sighed, looking around.“Just go through that door, okay?” I asked. They all nodded and ran through. Suddenly they appeared all over the place.“Shit… this is like watching labyrinth all over again only its real…” I muttered, rubbing my head.

Horoscope part Twenty

I opened my eyes, staring at a cement floor. My hands were handcuffed together and my body felt like ice. I looked up, rubbing my head as I looked around the small cell. Cody raised an eyebrow as out eyes met. He grinned at me outside of the small cage as my eyes darkened.“Let me out you ass hole.” I snarled. Cody sighed.“Sorry. I can’t. You’ll thank me later though. Trust me” He stated. I raised an eyebrow, stepping towards him.“Why would I thank you?” I asked. He shrugged.“Because. Being a bad guy is more fun.” He stated. I rolled my eyes.“Oh yes. I’m sure. Now. Open this door before I rip your heart out” I hissed. Cody smirked, stepping forward.“Just how are you going to accomplish that?” He asked. I turned back around angrily, pacing. I looked at the bench and hopped on it. I turned into my cancer form and turned to the door. Cody gave me a strange look.“What’s that for?” He asked. I smirked.“So my clothes don’t fall off.” I stated, dashing at the door, leaping and turning into my tiny crab form. I flew towards the door, but hit some sort of a force field and fell backwards, hitting the ground and changing back into my previous cancer form. I moaned rubbing my head. Cody burst out laughing as I narrowed my eyes at him.“That wasn’t funny you ass!” I snarled. Cody smirked.“Actually it kind of was. Sorry. This door is pretty much cursed with the fact that you can go in but you cant go out unless Evan unlocks it with a certain key.” He stated. I glared at him, gripping the bars with my cuffed hands.“As soon as I’m out of here, I’m kicking your ass” I snarled. Cody laughed slightly.“Right. We’ll see about that.” Cody stated, then suddenly paused. He nodded quickly then turned and started walking off. I sighed looking at the window, trying to see where I was. The only thing I could see was gravel and a path in front of me. I heard something loud pass by my small window and I pulled away, unsure of what it was. I sent the image to the others, but felt it bounce back. Crap. It blocked that out too. I sighed sitting on the bench. Now what? I looked at my wrists and sighed. Even when I transformed, the cuffs just slid further up… I fell back and stared at the ceiling as another loud noise rattled the room. That’s when it hit me. Red. Gravel underneath and around it. A loud, rattling type noise. Well only one thing in this area could be logical and fit the description. I looked out and attempted to look to the side, seeing more red poles going into the ground. I stared through the fence and saw feet. That certainly gave it away.“Fuck…” I muttered, “I’m under play land…”I felt a jolt go up my spine as the door was suddenly opened. Virgo stood before me, spinning the key around her finger.“Come on Cancer. We’ve got some preparing to do before tonight.” She stated. I backed away, glaring at her.“No way in hell” I hissed. She sighed, stepping into the cell.“Come quietly or I’ll call everyone.” She snarled. I glared at her.“I don’t care” I stated, moving around her. She took a step towards me, but I moved further away. She suddenly lunged at me, but I leapt out of the way, stepping on her head as I did so. She glared and spun around, but I cracked her in the face with my foot. I quickly grabbed her around the neck with my hand cuffs and began walking out, holding her tightly. She gripped the chain tightly as I walked with her.“Where’s the exit” I barked. She pointed weakly at a small door. I looked at her tightening.“No funny business.” I snarled, then opened the door. I felt light touch my face and squinted. I felt something weighing at my hands. Virgo was slumped over. I checked her pulse. Still beating, just unconscious. I dropped her and walked forward. I cringed as I felt the world disintegrate around me. I looked around, trying to adjust to the sudden bright lights in what looked to be a laboratory. I tried to move my arms, but they were strapped up. I felt the same cold bonds around my legs. I looked to my left and saw a few shadowed figure, but more importantly I saw my reflection. What the heck was going on? I heard a hideous creaking noise and a small spraying noise and I knew. They were forcing me into my powers. And not just the simple powers, my full cancer form… They still thought Izak was evil… I looked at them and smirked. I could at least play with this for a bit.“Hey! Guess what? I’m NEVER GIVING IN!” I shouted. Evan grinned.“We’ll see about that” he said darkly. I felt a small smile creep across my face. Just like putty in my hands. I felt the water engulfing my face as I took one last breath. I pretended to be holding in the air I had just swallowed and cringed. I opened one eye at them and grinned turning into my cancer form. I felt the bonds break beneath my sudden large claws. I stepped towards the edge and grinned at Evan.“Checkmate” I stated. Evan smirked.“Did you really think that was my true intention?” He asked.

Horoscope Part Nineteen

I stood on the rain soaked street, my hair drenched as I stared at the nine others. Mara, Katie and Taurus stood to my left while Cassie, Saul and Markus stood on my right. Fallon stared at us, looking reluctant. I stepped forward, and beckoned for Evan to walk forward. He did as I said.“Why are you here?” I asked darkly. Evan sighed.“Well if we get a complete horoscope set, then we gain ultimate power.” He stated. I placed a hand on my hip.“Then why is there a need for me?” I asked, “Can’t you just wait until your Cancer is reborn?” Evan shook his head, “If it was that simple, then we’d leave you alone.” He stated. I cocked my head to one side.“What do you mean?” I asked, Evan sighed.“There are four horoscope people that are born every generation, aka the leaders. Fate chooses which one leads, but the four optional leaders are Aquarius, Capricorn, Aries and Cancer.” He explained, suddenly changing into his horoscope form “And you’re the leader and it’s more fun to turn a leader” I raised an eyebrow at him, “What makes you think I’ll turn, Aquarius?” I asked. Aquarius shrugged.“because your ruling planet is the moon. And the moon represents darkness. After all, it’s only being lit up by the sun.” He stated. I grinned, holding my claw back as it absorbed the water.“But there’s one problem. We’re in both of my elements.” I stated, as a ball of water appeared in my hand. Evan grinned as he held out a hand, holding back his group. “And we’re in both of mine.” He stated, his hands filling up with both wind and water. I leapt backwards as he threw them at me. I quickly swung the ball of water at him, but he leapt out of the way, forcing wind at me. I felt it hit me and sent me flying backwards. Before I could regain my balance, Evan struck again, sending me onto the ground. I quickly landed on my hands and feet and spun around, kicking him across his legs. He lost his balance, and fell to the ground. We both quickly got up and prepared to attack, but Evan quickly disappeared as well.“You cheap ass!” I shouted. He suddenly hit me from behind. I spun around, searching for him, but couldn‘t find him. I quickly shot water up all around me creating a wall. I suddenly spotted Evan and let the wall go down. Unfortunately as soon as I did that he disappeared. I looked over at Virgo who grinned. It had been an illusion caused by hypnosis. I glared at her, shooting water at all of them. Evan quickly grabbed me. I kicked his leg and twisted away, water energy balling up in my hands as I felt my energy level growing. Evan grinned as I leapt at him, throwing the water at him. He leapt out of the way and spun around, knocking me to the ground with wind. I gritted my teeth, standing back up, but was hit by Evan’s wind attack again. I moaned, continuing to try, but every time Evan just used it again. I felt my eyes closing as I tried to maintain consciousness. Evan smirked and knelt by me.“You ready to give up yet?” He asked. I coughed slightly, my previous form disappearing as I attempted to stand up.“You’re an asshole…”I muttered. Evan sighed, shaking his head as he blasted me with wind, knocking me to the ground and causing me to begin to lose consciousness. He stepped towards me.“Yes, I know. And it’s so much fun.” He stated, grabbing me. I heard Markus shouting something as I heard feet moving across the street, then nothing. fuck… what am I going to do about Skylar? A world suddenly appeared around me as Izak appeared with it. He stood beside me as we walked down this 18th century looking village. I assumed this to be from Izac’s time.

Horoscope Part Eighteen

I stood at the dinner table, nibbling on a cooked baby carrot. I could feel Fallon glaring at me. I looked over at Markus. He grinned weakly. I could tell that he too felt the tension. But how could you not? Unless you were his mom.“So. Markus. You haven’t introduced me to your friends yet.” His mother stated. Markus nodded towards us, swallowing his previous mouthful of food.“Okay, well, the tall girl with dark hair and blue eyes is Katie. The one beside her with dreadlocks is Tyson. The boy with dark hair and brown hair beside Fallon is Saul and the really tall girl with brown hair and eyes is Cassie. The girl with blue eyes and blonde hair is Mara and this one beside me is Taylor.” He explained. His mother smiled at every one of us.“Welcome to our home. So are you runaways?” She asked. I smiled and shook my head.“No, we have people going after us” I stated. Markus coughed slightly as his mom’s eyes widened.“Oh! Why are people going after you all?” She asked. I shook my head.“Well, really they’re after me because they need me for something. I can’t go into it further. Family issues. But they want to use the others as leverage, we think.” I explained. Markus turned to look at me as if pleading me to stop. I simply looked back, trying to communicate with my eyes. Fallon suddenly spoke up.“mom. I’m full. I’m going to bed, okay?” He asked. His mother nodded.“Okay sweetie. Have a good sleep, okay?” She asked. Fallon nodded dismissively.“It’ll be hard, but I’ll try.” He stated, looking over at me. I felt a chill run down my spine. Fallon seemed to smile with his eyes as he turned back around. I sighed, stuffing a mouthful of potatoes in my mouth. Boys were so confusing sometimes…“Sorry you had to sit through that”I looked up at Markus who smiled at me as we sat in one of the many bedrooms in his house. I smiled and shook my head walking over.“Don’t worry about it. It was interesting. I just hope my mom buys that I was just going to a friends house for a week..” I said softly. Markus sighed.“Hopefully this whole ‘in hiding’ thing only takes a week.” He said gently. I nodded, hugging my knees in my penguin pyjamas. He smiled and leaned over, gently kissing my forehead.“Don’t worry. It’ll be over before you know it.” He said gently. I sighed.“But what if it isn’t? or we lose..” I asked. Markus shook his head and sighed.“Then we die trying. It’s okay. In four years, all spirits who have died will re-appear in other bodies. So even though we aren’t alive we still get to fight. I felt someone crawling towards me on the bed. Looking up I saw Markus on his hands and knees above me in the moonlight, stroking my cheek. I stared up at him as he lowered himself, getting closer and closer to my lips. I quickly put one finger in between our mouths.“Again, Fallon?” I asked. “So. They broke into your house while you were in it, and they appeared to be searching for something?” Markus asked, looking over at Saul. Saul nodded.“Yeah. I don’t know what exactly but-” He started but Cassie interrupted him.“I think I know…” She stated, nibbling on her ice cream bar, “They were after leverage”“Leverage?” Mara asked. Cassie nodded.“If they captured Saul, they could hold him for ransom until Taylor becomes nothing but their puppet,” She explained, “All they’d have to do is torture Saul a little bit and knowing Taylor, she’d come crawling right to them just to save Saul. They might go after any one of us now, so we have to be on the look out at all times.”Markus nodded in thought.“We could all stay at my house…” He stated. We all stared at him. He simply gazed back at everyone of us, “Yeah, I know Fallon is supposed to live there, but he never stays over. I closed my eyes slowly under the July sun, feeling weaker to its heat. I gripped the skateboard that Cassie had made on our previous adventure and rode down to Saul’s house as quickly as possible. As I neared the house, I skidded to a halt, leaping off of my skateboard and ditching it, sneaking around the house. I knocked on Saul’s window gently. He peered through and spotted me. I peered around the corner, but felt an invisible force pull me back. I held up a finger to motion him to wait, then I closed my eyes, turning into a small crab. Saul smirked and pointed at me, but I snapped my claw in iritance. He quickly shut up. I crawled up the steps and in through the door, just nearly missing the underside of Gemini’s foot. I looked up, examining him. He had short, choppy white hair in this form and sharp grey eyes. He seemed to look at me, but when I froze, he looked away, as if not noticing that I was there. Feeling relief, I climbed down the stairs and into Saul’s bedroom, staring at him. He stared out the window, then back at me.“What?” I hissed, despite the fact he couldn‘t hear me. Regardless, He picked me up in his hand and showed me the window. My clothes were sitting in a neat, somewhat crumpled pile just outside the window. I moaned. Now what? I climbed down Saul’s sleeve and onto the ground. I skittered across his carpet and peeked out of the door. They were now upstairs, somewhere. I looked back and then to Saul. As if to get my hint, he tossed a t-shirt and jeans into his bathroom down the hall, quickly enough that it was unnoticeable. I quickly skittered into the bathroom and slid across his linoleum, managing to shut the door with my claws. Behind the door I quickly changed back and slipped into his clothes. Peering out, I was glad to see that they hadn’t come down here yet. I motioned for Saul to move over towards me and he did as he was told. I opened his back door and walked out, motioning for him to follow.“Come on, we’re gonna jump the house” I stated. Saul stared at me strangely.“Yeah, but how are we gonna do that? We’re water types, not earth or fire or wind.” Saul stated. I thought for a moment.“We’ll have to be quick… but we can use the water in your pool to blast us over…” I explained. I held one hand out to the pool. Saul mimed my action. Both of our eyes changed to their spirit blue as the water rose and knocked us up into the air and over the house. I gazed through the window as we flew over, but they had moved down stairs, which meant they hadn’t seen what had just happened. As soon as we landed, we started running. Fortunately for us, they didn’t follow. Saul grinned as we dashed around the corner.“Man, they didn’t even notice us!” He exclaimed. jumped up and grabbed my skateboard as I ran down the escalator. I was surprised that no one had gone after me for skateboarding through the mall, but I simply assumed that they were up to something. Dashing down the floor, it began to seem hopeless to find Fallon. But suddenly, I saw the woman. Running up to her, I noticed her eyes. Green. I grinned and dashed up to him, prepared to pounce. He spun around and gripped me tightly.“Even though it didn’t go quite according to plan, it came out with the same result, hm Cancer? I closed my eyes momentarily as I sent out the signal to the others. As long as I got out I was safe. But it was hard to get out when everyone was blocking the exits. Then I saw it. Unfortunately, as soon as I got near the doors, his ‘zombies’ ran over, blocking the window. I sighed, running back. Then I remembered. The skateboard. That would give me enough momentum to… Grinning, I leapt onto the skateboard and began riding. I held out one hand and aimed it at the people, trying to threaten them. Knowing they wouldn’t move, I went onto plan B. Jumping off of the skate board, I leapt over their heads and burst through the door. I ran down the side walk as the people suddenly fell down unconscious and Evan re-materialized. He dashed towards me but Markus, Mara, Saul, Cassie and Katie met up with me. We all spun around as the other dark horoscopes showed up. I grinned at Evan, my fists up.“Should we really be fighting here?” I asked. Evan shrugged.“They’re just humans. Why should I care. Why aren’t you using your full power?” He asked. I shrugged.“Hera told me not to transform so close to a full moon” I stated. It suddenly began to crash down on us, but Cassie quickly sheltered us with flames. I looked around.“Where’s Katie?” I asked franticly. Cassie removed the flames to see a pile of rubble. As I sorted through the t-shirts, I felt a chill run down my spine. I looked up, but saw nothing as music flowed through the speakers in the small Bang On store in Metrotown. My ears picked up the familiar melody of "Fine Again" by seether. I sighed, ignoring the chill. It had been happening alot for the past few weeks so I assumed it was just my body acting weird... at least i thought it was..."Hey candy-lips..." a voice hissed in my ear. I snarled. turning to move out of the small store as quickly as possible."Well, I can shop sometimes too can't I?" He asked. I tossed him a look, which made him sigh, "Okay, fine. I'm here because I have to follow my boss around." "Wait. Evan's here?" I asked, "Where?""Ah ah ah!" He cooed, waving a finger in my face, "That's a secret.He'll show himself when he wants to"I glared at him and turned away, but Fallon gripped my arm."Aw, come on. don't you wanna play a bit?" Blue.It's the colour of many things. Like the sky, the water, certain people's eyes, birds, fish, crayons and ziplock bags. It was also the colour of the blue 2009 Chevrolet Suburban that was being hurled through the air at us on a seemingly normal summery morning. We all froze and looked at them. one of them turned to me as the other one pulled back his hood to reveal Evan. His hair was now long and straight, and his eyes had darkened to show a look of irritance as he looked at Virgo. She smiled, leaving Katie trapped on the ground."Oh! Hi sir! I captured them for you!" She cried happily, clearly showing off her chest as she leaned forward. Evan simply stared into her eyes with his now threatening, soul peircing blue ones."Captured is a funny way of putting it. the side walk has been blown up, Katie who actually happens to be a good friend of mine is being tortured to death and the one person... the one person who I specifically asked for.." He snarled walking over to me, pointing," Does she look captured to you?" he shouted. Virgo glared at me then at Taurus."Blame it on Taurus. He just had to show off" She snarled. I glared back at her as Taurus gripped me tightly, making it impossible for me to move."Taurus has nothing to do with this. You were the one who said you came to kill us!" I shouted. The other cloaked figure walked up to Taurus and I, taking me from Taurus's arms and freeing Katie as he continued to speak."Virgo. Why are you even here? No one you know has been taken and you arent being forced to. All you want is the power. If you cant obide by my orders, then leave." He hissed, dissapearing. The other two dissapeared after him, leaving me, Katie and the cloaked figure. The cloaked figure turned to me and examined me up and down."Be glad he's in a good mood, miss-candy-lips" He said darkly as a small smirk spread across his lips. I glared at him as he dissapeared. "Katie! We're gonna be late!" I called as I peeked around the corner. Katie looked back, adjusting her shirt."Yeah, I know. I'm coming" She said quickly, gripping her bag. it had been two weeks with no sign of the dark horoscope. Not even Fallon had shown his face since that night. I stared at my feet, hoping that he was at least ok. Katie stuck her face into my face."Thinking about Markus?" She asked. My face reddened despite the fact i actually wasn't"No!" I squeeled, hitting her in the arm with my unreasonably large bag. It wasnt unreasonable in the sense that it was huge. it was unreasonable because of the fact that, well, i really only carried my wallet, house key and phone in there. She smirked as we headed down the stairs, preparing for our little shopping adventure."Are the others coming?" She asked. I nodded."I hope you don't mind.. but I invited Evan too. I dont think He'll come because of the fact that we're enemies now, but I invited him to make things seem reletively normal. If i dont invite him to things like this, people will start to think somethings up and i dont like getting involved in drama." I stated. Katie paused for a moment then nodded."That's actually pretty smart. Yeah, I don't think He'll come either. oh well. Where's Markus?" She asked, opening her front door. slipping out, i spun around as I walked down the stairs to reply."He said he'll meet us there. I guess since they havent shown their faces lately, He's calmed down. She said gently as we walked down the unusually empty street. His long, dark brown dred locks suddenly turned a forest green as his eyes changed into a lighter green. his skin turned darker and more tanned looking as two small horns sprouted from his head and a tail emerged from his backside. He lifted a car that was next to him as the two walked towards us."Morning little girls. doing some shopping?" She asked, her hand rising as vines gripped our legs, "I'm sorry, but you'll be kept a bit longer. We kind of need to kill you, but that's okay. No one would miss you too much with your flat chests."Katie stared at her, her eye brow raising slightly."Wow... your a bitch... and that was horrible" She stated. The girl flipped her hair."What ever. how old are you, like ten?" She asked. Katie just stared at her as the vines around our ankles burned away. Katie suddenly turned into Leo, flames swelling up in her hand. The girl grinned as she looked to the boy."Taurus, do your thing" She ordered. Taurus looked from the car to us then back to the girl."Virgo. Don't get carried away" he muttered. Virgo glared at Taurus, gripping his shirt."Don't tell me what to do, Taurus." Horoscope part Ten

I leapt down from the roof, examining the landscape. It was around midnight, and I needed to get out. Thank Hera for my powers. I sighed as I felt the warm summer breeze brush against my face. I stared out to look at the evening sky. A full moon. I felt my heart pound against my chest as I gritted my teeth together. What was happening? I felt my body moving on it’s own towards the forest. I closed my eyes as I went into my mentality to figure out what was wrong.Izak, what’s going on? Aquarius. He’s trying to take over. He’ll stop soon. He can’t take you over for more than a couple seconds because you’re a leaderI felt my body loosen as I fell back against the grass, panting. Evan suddenly appeared before me, pulling me up by the loose cloth of my shirt. I stared up at him, pushing away as I gained my strength back.“Why isn’t it working? Surely Hera wasn’t stupid enough to put her trust in a traitor” He snarled. I felt the moisture in the air around us begin to form in my hand. He grinned as wind began to form in his hand.“You should know the limits of your own powers, Evan” I said, my face turning into a look of irritation. Evan smirked.“So she was being stupid. I see now. Zeus will be happy to hear this. But first, let me destroy you” He snarled. I grinned slowly.“This should be fun, creeper” I hissed. He grinned widely, running at me with the ball of wind. I let the water go suddenly as I flipped over him, then blasted a squirt of water at the back of his head.“Are you mocking me?” He asked, turning to face me sharply. I grinned. “Maybe” I said gently. Evan smirked as he gripped my throat suddenly. Fuck. I gritted my teeth together, trying to pull away. “You always were kind of annoying” He snarled, lifting me up. I kicked at him furiously, then cracked my elbow into his. His arm buckled, letting me go long enough for me to get a bit of distance. However, he grabbed the back of my shirt, spun me around and smacked me. I glared and punched him as he gathered my t-shirt in his fist. There was a sudden loud coughing noise. We both turned to see a cloaked figure leaping down from the roof. It stepped forward, pulling back his hood. I glared as I pulled away from Evan.“Yo, Aquarius. I thought it was your policy not to hurt girls. Besides, we’d better go seeing as how the experiment failed. Cancer’s the leader, thus you can’t just take her over to make her turn. Stop taking your frustration out on her.” Fallon stated as he stepped up next to Evan. Evan sighed, letting me go. I stepped away from both of them.“Why are you with Zeus?” I asked. Both of them exchanged glances.“Because we want to be” Evan stated.“Why? What’s it to you?” Fallon asked, raising an eyebrow. I shook my head.“Never mind. Get off of my yard” I hissed. Fallon took a couple steps backwards until he was standing on the line between the street and my yard. He grinned.“As you wish, princess” He said, smirking. I stepped towards him and jabbed him in the stomach.“You jerk. Leave.” I snarled. He grinned, pulling a lock of my hair to his lips.“What if I don’t want to?” He asked flirtatiously. I turned to Evan.“He’s almost as bad as you” I muttered. Evan grinned and looked to Fallon. Fallon let go of my lock of hair and looked back at him.“You know, she is alone. We could just snag her and take her back with us.” Fallon stated. I stared between them, stepping away as I held up my fists. Evan grinned grabbing me and holding me against him.“You have a point. Lets go, Cancer” He stated, lifting me up over his shoulder. I growled and attempted to wriggle away, but Fallon was right behind him, turning into Capricorn. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, but before I could let it out, there was a forceful hand over my mouth. I stared up at Fallon who held out one hand as my body was bound in blue flames. I attempted to wriggle away again, but nothing worked. I sighed, then smiled realizing that there was a way to get out. Izak. Send out the help transmission wow. You didn’t think of that sooner?I’m human before I’m Cancer It only took about three minutes for the first sign that someone was there. My body was rolled onto the grass as Evan and Fallon transformed. I turned around to see Mara standing there as Markus appeared beside her. Markus dashed up to Fallon, cracking him in the mouth.“You asshole! Leave her alone!” He shouted, tackling him to the ground. Fallon glared and sat back up, wiping a bit of blood that dribbled from his mouth.“You think I’m bad? You’re the one who‘s leaving him to die!” He snarled, lunging at Markus. He sat on top of him and punched him in the cheek. Markus’s eyes shone red as he blasted him off of him, then leapt back up.“You’re the one who made the choice of betraying us!” Markus shouted. Fallon ran back at him, shooting flames at him.“You betrayed Zeus first! You betrayed all of us! And now he‘s going to die!” He shouted. Everyone had stopped what they were doing and were now staring at the siblings. I aimed my hand at the flames, shooting water at them and loosening them until I slipped out. I ran up between the two, dousing them with water.“Will you two shut up?” I hissed. They stared at me dumbfounded. I glared at the two brothers. Fallon glared between us.“Well, what ever. Evan, I’m leaving. Do what you want.” He snarled. Evan raised an eyebrow.“Last time I checked I was the leader” He growled. Fallon shrugged, changing back.“Sorry. I just can’t do this right now” He stated, vanishing into flames. Evan sighed and looked back at us, then also vanished into flames. I sighed, dropping down onto the ground, feeling everything fall loose. Mara walked over and gave me a gentle hug.“I’m going back to bed. Give me a call if something goes wrong again.” She said softly. I nodded, then heard her footsteps vanishing into the distance. I sat, still in stunned silence. I felt Markus grip my arm angrily and pull me to my feet.“What were you thinking? You could have been captured! Where would that have left us then? And what could have happened to you?” He shouted angrily. I looked at my feet.“Who is him?” I asked. I felt Markus’s grip on me loosen.“W-What?” He asked. I paused for a moment.“… Fallon said you betrayed him… Who is him?” I repeated. Markus looked to his feet as well.“… My father. He died in a car accident a few years ago… Zeus promised to bring him back to life if we stayed on his side and enforced his rules… but I switched to the light… and now Fallon is in the dark…” He muttered. I felt my heart pound as I heard this. I felt Markus’s presence begin to fade off. I flipped my head up and ran towards him, hugging him tightly as tears streamed down my eyes.“I’m sorry, to both of you… I wont say I understand how it feels because I know I don’t… but… Im so sorry!” I sobbed, looking up at him. Markus stared down at me, his eyes looking watery. He grinned and ruffled my hair.“It’s ok. I’d much rather protect you then bring back the dead. My parents were divorced so my mother isn’t in any pain. Fallon is just childish and is chasing a dream that he doesn’t realize wont happen” He said calmly. I stared at him, touching his cheek.“If you don’t believe it then why are you crying?” I asked, feeling the moisture on his cheek. He leaned down.“Because… I’m happy that I’ve met someone as caring as you…” He said softly, then kissed me on the lips. I pulled away for a moment.“You’re not Fallon, are you?” I asked. I felt him laugh as he wrapped his arms around me.“No. I‘m not this time...” He whispered gently, kissing me again. This time I accepted.(sorry this one was so mushy near the end XD next one will have more awesometastic action :D)

Horoscope part Nine

“Cancer..” A voice whispered. I looked around. I was now in the middle of a blank white room. A woman with long dark hair and dark eyes wearing a long white Greek gown sat at the other side of a long table. I walked forward, looking around. My body was different, yet I was still me. Was it my transformation? No. there were no claws on my hand. I looked up at the woman, who was now smiling at me gently. “Who are you?” I asked. She stood up and walked towards me.“I am Hera… in a way your true mother.” She whispered. I stared at her as she held my face in her hands. I felt like a little child staring at this beautiful woman. There was a coughing noise in the corner. Hera looked up at him and glared.“Well, good evening Izak.” She growled as a man stepped forward. He was thin, but somewhat built. His deep blue eyes looked piercing and frightening, yet gentle as dark hair hung in front of his face. His body was clothed in an outfit that looked as though it were from the late 1800s. Hera sighed as she let go of me.“Cancer, this is Izak. The old Cancer spirit.” She stated. He made a noise, showing his iritance.“I’m not that old.” He hissed. Hera sighed, turning back to me.“That is beside the point. Cancer, you have to make sure that you stay in the light. No matter what Izak says, listen to me, okay?” She asked. I nodded. Izak sighed and muttered something, but I couldn’t comprehend it. I tuned back into what Hera was saying to me.“When you wake up, I want you to call Markus and tell him that you saw me, got it?” She asked. I nodded.“Okay, but what does this mean?” I asked. Hera shook her head.“Markus can explain that to you.” She said. I sighed.“Can you at least tell me why I’m this Cancer thing?” I asked. She looked at Izak and then back to me and nodded, holding my hand gently.“You see, My husband Zeus is actually a horrible person. As long as he is in power and happy, he doesn’t care what happens down here. So he created the original horoscope warriors to enforce his existence among the humans. Although all of the separate spirits have their own reasons for doing what they do, whether Zeus has someone dear to them on ransom or anything like that, they obey. In anger of my husband, I created you and the others to defend the human’s free will against him.” She explained. I nodded.“I understand now.” I said gently. Hera smiled calmly.“Now, Cancer, you need to wake up and help your friends.” She said gently. I looked over at Izak who just stared out into space. I sighed, closing my eyes. Suddenly my eyes opened in the real world. Skylar sat on my chest in his human form, a stick near my face. I stared up into his amber eyes as he stared back into mine. I simply held out one hand.“I wont ask questions if you get me my phone and never do that again.” I stated. Skylar nodded, handing me my phone. I quickly texted Markus.“Hey. I just had a dream about Hera… she told me to tell you. What does this mean?” I sat there momentarily until my phone vibrated again. Skylar leapt up, then relaxed, reading one of my manga books. I read the text, my eyes widening. That was impossible…“It means that you’re the leader”

Horscope part eight

My eyes shot open as I shot up and awoke in my own room. I coughed slightly, feeling the stinging pain. I looked around. It was indeed my room. I sighed, looking to my right. Skylar was sleeping on a pile of clothes I had left on my desk. I smiled calmly. He was ok. “Oh! You’re awake. Good. It was getting hard to explain to your mom what happened and who I was” A voice stated. I looked up to see Markus standing in the door frame. He smirked as he stepped forward and examined my eyes.“It’s still Taylor, right?” He asked. I nodded slowly.“Yeah…” I muttered. He sighed and sat down, “Why what happened?”“Well… you see when you went unconscious, the cancer spirit took over and managed to fend off Capricorn. How ever, because of the state your body was in, he too couldn’t maintain control for much longer so grabbing Skylar we retreated back here.” Markus explained. I nodded, rubbing my head. Markus looked away.“Fucking Fallon…” He muttered, looking at his phone. I raised an eyebrow at him.“Who’s Fallon and what’s wrong with him?” I asked. Markus raised an eyebrow and showed the picture id on his phone.“Fallon is my twin brother,” He stated, “And he’s Capricorn, the one who attacked you”I stared at the picture in shock. He had medium, choppy, red, emo-ish looking hair and gentle green eyes. Markus pulled the phone away and answered it.“Hello?” He asked. There was a moment of silence, then Markus made a noise.“If you want to know what’s for dinner, then call mom yourself!” He shouted, then hung up. He sighed. I felt the corners of my mouth twitch, then I burst out into laughter. Markus turned to look at me, a peculiar expression on his face.“What’s so funny?” He asked. I shook my head.“It’s just that… we’re in a way godly… and he’s a villain in our eyes…. Yet… we’re so normal” I explained calming down. Markus smirked and started laughing.“You have a point” He stated. I smiled and looked over at Skylar picking him up ad cradling him in my arms.“So what did you tell my mom?” I asked. Markus shrugged.“I’m a guy you met through Cassie and we were hanging out when a group of people surrounded us and began picking on us and tried to take your purse. I tried to reason with them and told you to run, but one of them ran after you.” He said. I nodded.“That probably worked” I said. He nodded.“It did” He said softly, then stood up, “anyways, I’d better go home. I’ve got to help mom with dinner” I smirked.“Awe so cute” I said, grinning widely. He smirked at me.“Well thank you.” He said, then froze, staring into my eyes. He stepped forward towards me. I stared up at him nervously.“W-what?” I asked. He quickly tilted my chin up with his finger and kissed my lips softly. I felt my body melt, yet… something felt strange… I pushed away, staring at him. He stared back at me, looking as if he wanted more. There was a sudden noise as flames burst into the room. Another Markus appeared, lunging at the one I was just talking to.“You stay away from her!” He snarled, striking him across the face. He suddenly turned into Fallon. I stared at him wide eyed.“Wait… You mean you aren’t twins?” I asked, confused to if Fallon was lying or telling the truth. Markus and Fallon froze, looking at me. Fallon’s shirt was gathered in Markus’s fist as they both looked at me. Markus dropped Fallon to the ground and stepped towards me.“No, it’s true. We’re brothers. It’s just that Fallon is the more misbehaved and jerkish one.” He stated. Fallon glared at him, then looked at me. I glared at him.“You bastard…” I hissed. He sighed and smirked.“Yes I am one, big whoop. Your boyfriend is one too” He stated. I sighed as Fallon leaned in closer.“by the way, you taste good.” He hissed in my ear. Chills ran down my spine as I pushed him away, angrily. Markus grabbed Fallon and kissed my fore-head.“Sorry. We’ll be out of your hair now. Rest, okay? You’ve got to protect Skylar” He stated. I nodded.“Okay. Bye Markus” I said softly. Markus smiled as he turned into flames. I sighed. That Fallon…. He was a real asshole… even so, what was he even doing here in the first place… I sighed again. He was probably here for Skylar, then shocked at the fact I was waking up, turned into Markus. I laid back down and rolled my eyes.“You dickless asshole…” I muttered as I fell asleep

Horoscope part seven

I stood out at the sky train station, staring off into the distance. No sign of some bird. I closed my eyes and sighed, sitting down. Picking up a paper, I stared at the cover. Nothing really new in the world that was important to me. A strange sensation washed over me as my hair stood on end. I looked to my left, spotting about nine figures walking down in my direction. I quickly raised the paper over my face as I watched Evan lead the others down the way, completely missing me.

I turned to stare at the person to my right. A little boy that looked to be ten sat beside me. He had large amber eyes and feathery red hair with orange streaks cutting through it. He wore a simple t-shirt and jeans as a red stone hung around his neck. I looked around. Evan wasn’t anywhere to be seen. I turned to him.“I thought you were a bird” I hissed. He stared up at me, his eyes lightening.“I am. This is just my human form” He stated, suddenly changing into a small bird, “See?”I quickly grabbed him and shoved him in the front part of my jacket.“Shhh! they’re here. Come on. Lets go” I hissed at him, but felt a hand on my shoulder. I spun around to face my friend Martin. I smiled at him, hiding the bird.“Hey Martin-” I started, but stepped away as his eyes began turning a pale, oceanic green. I felt my stomach churn as he stepped towards me.“Give me the phydroon chick.” He snarled. I stared at him, unsure of what to do. We were in public. The train suddenly pulled in behind him. I began walking towards him, then dashed past him, sliding into the sky train as the doors shut behind me, locking Martin out. He glared as the sky train pulled away. I sighed, walking to the front. Checking to make sure everyone was busy doing their thing, I pulled the bird out of my jacket. He quickly transformed back into a person.“Hi. I’m Skylar!” He chirped happily. I shook my head and held a finger to my lips.“I’m Taylor but here’s not the time. Come here.” I said gently, wrapping an arm around him, “At any moment, we could be jumped by them. Do they know you can turn into a person?” I asked. He shook his head.“No. This is the first generation in which one of us has been able to.” He stated. I nodded.“Okay. Good. If anyone asks, you’re my cousin, got it?” I asked. He nodded quickly.“Got it.” He said as the train came to a halt. I gripped his hand and pulled him off of the train. As soon as I did, I knew something was wrong. The people around me had frozen in mid step.“Shit…” I muttered, dashing out of the way as a blast of wind cut past me. Evan grinned as he dashed after us turning into Aquarius. I dragged Skylar behind me, but we were blocked at the exit by Martin. He glared at us as his body suddenly grew scales and his eyes turned to their greeny colour. The rest of the dark horoscope members stepped forward. I looked around me, unsure of what to do.“What do you want?” I asked. Cody smirked.“We want the chick. And by chick I don’t mean girl, we want the bird.” He stated. I shook my head.“I’m with my cousin. I don’t know where the bird went.” I said. Aquarius raised an eyebrow.“Oh really. Then how come you’ve never talked about this cousin? What’s his name?” He asked. I looked at Skylar. He just stared back at me nervously. My head snapped up as my heart began to fill up with hope. They were here! I smirked as I took a step towards Aquarius.“His name is Skylar.” I stated as Katie and Cassie suddenly burst into the circle with Markus, now Aries. Katie turned into Leo and glared at the group as Cassie turned into Sagittarius.“Get out of here now!” Aries shouted. I nodded as Aries blasted flames at a couple people, causing them to move. I grabbed Skylar and dashed out of the clearing. I dashed down the stairs but was quickly intercepted by Cody. Katie lunged at him and struck him across the face, her claws digging in slightly. I picked up Skylar, surprised at how light he was and continued running. Saul and Mara suddenly appeared, running past me.“Keep going!” Saul cried, changing into his Scorpio form. A blonde boy looking as if he was frozen previously stamped out his cigarette and stepped towards Saul, grinning.“Well hello there, Mr. light Scorpio” He said as four claw-like scorpion arms shot out of his back. Saul grinned, stepping towards him.“So you must be the dark Scorpio?” He said. The other Scorpio nodded, lunging at him.“come on, lets have some fun, Hera bitch” He snarled. Saul dodged his attack and spun around, preparing to attack.“I have no clue as to what you meant by what you just said, but what ever.” He snarled. I quickly turned back around and continued running down the steps and out onto the side walk. Someone leapt down in front of me, hitting me away. Skylar turned back into his bird form and fell away as I rolled over into the bushes limply. I opened my eyes slowly to see a figure standing over me. I moaned gently as he bent down to look at me. He picked me up by the cuff of my shirt as he grinned at me.“Hello little crab” He sneered. I gritted my teeth together and swiped at him. He simply laughed as he gripped my hand. I panted, trying to gain back some strength to fight back. Damn this human form! I closed my eyes, feeling my consciousness slipping away.

Horscope part Six

I opened my eyes slowly waking up to the sound of my cell phone alarm going off. I moaned and rolled over eyeing the time. No time to sleep in. I sighed, rolling out of bed and grabbing my bag and starting to prepare for the following day. I heard the familiar notification warning ringer on my phone and lifted it up to see that I had been texted. I stared at it curiously, for it was a number I had not seen before. That’s when it clicked. Markus. I opened it and began reading.

I rolled my eyes, despite the fact that he couldn’t see it and began heading out the door. It wasn’t like someone would jump me at school. My heart skipped a beat as I looked around, giving that thought a second take. As I walked something caught my eye. A figure standing in the distance. She stared at me as I stared back, her long dark hair flowing in the wind. I began walking towards her, for that was the direction I was going, trying not to blink. Soon it became to hard to bare and I blinked, the woman vanishing from my sight. I sighed, continuing my journey. I soon made it to the school, walking straight to the gym to take my exam. I sighed, standing in the large group of people crowded around. I sighed, prepping myself… but something in my gut didn’t feel right… was Markus telling the truth? Shaking my head I pushed the thought away and sat down in my desk, pulling out my pencil. Last exam… I sighed, relaxing. It was almost summer. One of the teachers stepped up to the front of the class, announcing we could write. Glancing quickly at the time, I began jotting down answers rapidly. Unfortunately I kept hearing a voice in my head giving me the answers.

I sighed and closed my eyes, feeling complete serenity.“Taylor”My eyes shot open as I spun around to face my friend Evan. I smiled and quickly gave him a hug.“Hey Evan, what’s up?” I asked. Evan smiled darkly, the way he normally does.“Not much. Hey listen, can I talk to you for a bit?” He asked. I felt something in my gut die. I couldn’t explain it but something felt… wrong… I felt my foot turn to run.“Um, I’d better stay here and wait for Cassie… I have to talk to her about something…” I said calmly. Evan’s grin turned darker than usual (if that’s possible) as he stepped forward.“But it’s very important” He said, his voice sounding dark and eerie. I felt my heart freeze as I stared into his eyes, now turning a pale blue. He was Aquarius… but if our Aquarius was dead then that meant- I quickly turned and ran, but felt the air around be tighten around my body, trapping me. I cringed, but felt a sudden warmth and the wind bonds loosening. Aries stood in front of me, his hand engulfed in flames. I stared around me. A person was standing on the side walk, frozen. That must mean my attacker was here too. Aquarius grinned as his body was covered in a tornado, falling away to reveal a new version of the person I once knew as Evan. He held out his hand as my friend Cody stepped out, only he was now mutated and different, sporting a lion approach. Katie’s dark half… I glared at this dark Leo and began to step forward, but was blocked by Aries. He glanced backwards at me.
“Stay out of this. Every time you transform you risk having him take over.” He stated, lunging forward at Leo. Leo snarled and gripped his fist, flipping him over onto his back and breaking the cement around them. I stared straight into Evan’s eyes. Just what did he want with me?come on. You can’t expect to help by sitting out. He’s getting hurt out there I stared back at the fight, Cancer’s thoughts floating into my mind. I glared and began my mind battle with him.what can I do? Every time I transform, I risk having you take over oh, thanks.it’s truefine. Just help him. Its making me sad watching him. And you and I know you can kick Leo’s butt. fine. Just don’t take over and let me be in control. I don’t want to kill him, just get him to retreat. got it. I closed my eyes, transforming. I heard voices further away. Was he taking over? My eyes suddenly shot open as the water blasted away. I grinned as my hair hung down limply past my shoulders. I dashed towards Leo, the moisture in the air winding up in my claw. I blasted it into his face, watching him fly back. Leo smirked.“you’re not so cute when you’re kicking my ass, you know that?” He commented. I smirked, performing a back flip as he blasted fire at me.“Well, theres one upside. You just admitted that I’m kicking your ass” I stated, grinning as I leapt down, swiping at him. He leapt up and landed behind me, sweeping at my back. I ducked and kicked out, triping him. I grinned, steping on his chest.“See? Being short can be fun.” I commented. Leo grinned.“Yes, but where’s your boyfriend?” He asked. I looked around. Where was Aries/Markus? I grabbed some of the loose cloth on Leo’s shirt as he changed back, pushing him into a wall.“What did you do with him?” I snarled. Cody laughed. “Why don’t you find out?” He asked, suddenly vanishing into flames and burning away. I glared at the spot Cody once was, changing back. I suddenly received a text message.

Don’t follow him. It’s a trap. I teleported out there trying to go after Evan as soon as he vanished. Sorry. Go find the others and go find the baby chick. He’ll communicate with you. Let me know when you find him.

I sighed. At least he was safe.

We all stared at Markus as if he were on drugs.“Wait, who are you?” Saul asked, stepping forward. Markus smirked looking at me.“We’ve met. I’m Markus, otherwise known as Aries. Nice to see you Scorpio.” He commented looking back at him, stepping towards him to try and appear dominating. I sighed and began walking towards my house. All five followed behind me quickly. I opened my fence, then walked into the back yard, leading them to the small seating area. I sat down on the sofa and everyone else sat around me, except for Markus who sat beside me. I rolled my eyes and turned to him.“Okay Markus. What’s going on?” I asked. Katie nodded.“Explain now.” She growled. Markus raised an eyebrow and grinned.“Calm down kitty. Okay, so if you’ve ever paid attention to the horoscopes, you’d know that there are twelve in total. How ever there are also light and dark sides to them. We stand in the light and are reborn every generation, every four years between the ages of eight and sixteen. The ones that were turned when they were eight are dead now, and only two remain from the age of the age period of twelve.” He began to explain, when Mara interrupted him.“Who’s the second one?” She asked. He looked at Cassie.“You mean you never told them?” He asked. Cassie shrugged.“It was easier pretending.” She stated. Markus sighed.“Well, Cassie’s the second one. We were possessed by Aries and Sagittarius when we were twelve along with Libra and Virgo. How ever their other halves killed them. Its an ancient spirit thing. Using your full powers makes you remember who you once were and makes you vulnerable to ancient spirits. And Tay, I suggest you refrain from using full power as much as possible.” He stated. I eyed him strangely.“Why?” I asked. Markus looked at Cassie and sighed.“Because Cancer has always been the traitor.” He stated. I blinked, taken a back.“So if I use my full power then the old spirit of Cancer will take over my body and betray everyone?” I asked. Markus nodded.“It’s always stated that the dark Cancer will be killed by the light Cancer, so one time, the light Cancer betrayed the light side and joined the dark side. The reason why this is so easy for Cancer to do and no one else is because Cancer is the moon, which if you think about it is lit up by the sun, but also holds darkness within it” Cassie explained. I sighed, looking up.

“you aren’t going to listen to them, are you?” a voice asked in my head. I looked at Markus, panicking. He sighed.“Yeah, he can talk to you. But there’s one other thing you should all know.” He stated. We all looked at him curiously.“What?” Saul asked. Markus pushed a lock of his hair back.“If the ancient spirit takes over your body then your soul will be lost inside that spirit forever.” He said darkly. We all stared at him frightened. He laughed and shook his head.“But don’t worry. Only dark spirits try to take over.” He stated. The other three sighed while I just sat there staring at my feet. Why was I the cursed one? I sighed looking over at Markus.“Hey, you should show them your other form” I suggested. Markus raised an eyebrow.“You mean Aries?” He asked. I nodded.“Yeah, Aries.” I said calmly. Markus nodded and stepped away. He closed his eyes as his body burst into flames which disappeared almost as instantly as they had appeared. Behind them revealed Markus, only he now had horns, red eyes, white hair and a tail. His outfit had changed as well into something that someone might have worn in some fantasy novel. He smirked then looked at Cassie.“C’mon Cassie, show them what you’re made of” He said. Cassie smirked and rolled her eyes, stepping onto the grass. Flames encased her body then burned away to reveal Cassie, only with bright red eyes and dark red hair. Her body was covered in a long, fiery red gown as a bow was swung over her back. Saul stared at them.“How do you do that?” He asked. Markus, now Aries, grinned.“Step back so that you don’t destroy anything and just concentrate on your spirit” He explained. Saul stepped back and closed his eyes as water burst up around him violently. It fell to the ground revealing Saul only now his eyes were an oceanic blue, and his hair now had a blue tinge to it. Two extra claw like arms protruded from his back and his hands had turned into medium-sized black claws. A large scorpions tail shot out of his back side and his outfit had too changed. He looked at his claws.“How am I supposed to pick things up like this?” He asked. Aries shrugged.“Figure it out” He stated, bursting into flames and changing back, then changing into Aries again. Mara leapt up.“My turn!” She exclaimed excitedly. She stepped back as wind began incircling her body in a tornado form. It disappeared to reveal mara now standing there with white-blonde hair and pale blue eyes. Her outfit had changed into a long pale-blue gown. She smiled.“Oh my god! I want to try!” Katie cried jumping up. She burst into flames suddenly revealing her body again wearing a red and orange outfit. Her hair had turned flaming red and her eyes had turned a gentle orange. Two golden lion ears poked out from her hair and a tail swung back and forth on her tail bone-area. Her fingers had turned into claws and her teeth had changed into fangs. She grinned.“Awesome” She said happily. They all looked at me. Aries smirked.“C’mon Tay, give it a shot.” He said. I cocked my head to one side.“But I thought you said-” I started, but Aries shook his head.“It wont hurt if you do it a few times.” He said calmly. I nodded and sighed, closing my eyes.okay Mr. spirit. Lets goyou’re an idiot, you know. I’ll just take over your body if you do this No you wont because if you do, I’ll just take over again how will you do that?I’ll find a way. Now. Go! I felt my body go cold and wet as if my previous form was being washed away. When I opened my eyes, I felt a pair of feelers on the top of my head, bending down slightly. Four arms with small claws protruded from my back like Scorpio’s and my hands too had been changed into claws, only my claws were larger. A long medium blue dress clothed my body as my new blue hair flopped in front of my face. Saul grinned.“Dude! Your eyes are like a purple-blue!” He stated. I looked at my hands and laughed. Aries grinned.“Nice to see you again Cancer. You know, you’re the first girl cancer. Then again, the other team has the first boy Aquarius, who‘s also their leader which is also a first.” He explained, then turned to the others.“Okay everyone. Dress ups over. Change back before someone sees” He said quickly. We all nodded and quickly turned back into our original forms. I smiled calmly.

I sighed and pushed a lock of hair back, then looked at the time.“Holy crap! We have a provincial tomorrow! Everyone, you’re dismissed!” I said. Everyone nodded and quickly ran off to get home. I sighed as I walked inside. This was going to be one heck of a summer vacation.

Horoscope Part Four

I stared at the phone, bored as I waited for something. Anything to happen. I sighed, standing up and walking out my bedroom door and downstairs to my kitchen, flipping through the paper. Finding nothing of interest, I shut the paper and walked back up stairs. I looked through my contacts, then clicked on the title “Cassie-belle”. I began pressing the keys on my phone rapidly.Hey. Wut r u up to? Wanna hang and talk about it?I clicked send and laid back down. I waited for what felt like a few hours, but was really just a couple minutes until Cassie texted back.Hey Not much and sounds goodI really don’t understand this at all…I clicked the reply button and began franticly texting again.Okay, meet me at… the corner by safe way I guess.Talk to ya soon ^_^I pushed down on send a bit harder than usual, but I didn’t break the phone (thank god). I pushed my phone into my pocket and began heading out. But the feeling of being followed continued. I bit my lip and continued on, tying to ignore the feeling. I cringed as I walked, sensing things around me. I felt my heart quicken. What was going on? I stopped for a moment as everything around me seemed to slow down. I turned around, seeing a cloaked figure standing behind me. I turned to it as time stopped completely. He threw his cloak away as his hair changed white as well as his eyes. He grinned darkly as he stepped forward.“Good evening, Cancer.” He hissed as he lifted a hand. Wind began picking up in his hand becoming visible to my eye. I gave him a strange look.“Okay, I don’t know what I did to piss you off, but im sorry. I have something to do right now.” I stated, dashing past him. He threw the wind at my feet, causing the pavement to explode and knock me away. I cringed as I fell towards the ground, but felt no pain. I stared at my skin. Not a single scratch. I looked back up at him and began backing away nervously. He grinned stepping forward.“Perhaps now you will remember who you once were…” He muttered. “let me out…” a voice hissed in the back of my head. I glared and tightened my hands into tight fists.“WHAT’S GOING ON!” I shouted as water shot out from the ground. The man grinned as the world began speeding up again and he vanished into the hole he had created. I shook my head and took off towards where Cassie and I were supposed to meet. She stood there, eyeing me strangely. I reached up and touched my forehead, feeling something wet and sticky. I guess that happened before. I shook my head.“It’s nothing. Come on. Lets go for a walk” I said calmly. Cassie nodded as we began walking down the street.“yeah, so I was walking down when some creepy-ass cloaked figure appeared out of no where and made time stop” I explained. Cassie shot me a glance“He made time stop?” She asked. I nodded.“Yeah and then I was blasted upwards by some wind he shot at me, but it didn’t hurt because my skin became tough, well after I got this one cut.” I said calmly. Cassie looked at it and nodded.“You want a band-aid for that?” She asked. I nodded.“Yes please.” I said as she reached into her bag and pulled one out. I took it from her and attempted to put it on, but failed to do so. Cassie took the band-aid and laid it over the small wound.“There you go.” She stated. I smiled and nodded“Thanks. Anyways back to my story. I began feeling something swelling up inside of me-” I started, but was interrupted by Cassie.“Wait…” She said, cocking her head to one side in thought,” You felt something swelling up inside of you? How long ago was this?” she asked. I shook my head.“Maybe five to ten minutes ago?” I said, trying to remember how long ago that had actually happened. Cassie laughed slightly. I cast her a look.“Why?” I asked. Cassie shook her head.“It’s ironic. About five to ten minutes ago I felt the world around me slow down and I felt the need to hurry and find you… on top of that it was like I had a GPS system in my brain… were you almost right in front of your house?” She asked. I nodded.“Yeah, it was just up the street, on the corner of Ivywood.” I stated. Cassie nodded and opened her mouth to say more, but Katie, Saul and Mara leapt out of no where angrily.“Are you ok?” Katie asked. Cassie and I stared at them.“Did you all sense it too?” Cassie asked. All three of the newcomers nodded. “What’s going on?” Saul asked. A voice rang through the sky.“It’s very simple if you think about it” It stated. There was a burst of flames as Markus appeared, “You’re all possessed by the light side of the horoscope.”

Horoscope Part Three

I felt my heart thundering as I began walking home alone. I was always afraid of being alone. I never quite understood the reasons as to why. My heart froze when I heard foot steps behind me. I quickly spun around, but saw nothing. I inhaled sharply, then spun around and began walking faster. Again I heard the foot steps. I felt something bubbling in my chest as my wrists began tingling. I turned around sharply, but saw nothing yet again. Shaking the thoughts out of my head, I began talking to myself, though this was not unusual.“There’s nothing there… don’t worry Taylor…” I muttered. I looked up worried.“But what if there is? What if someone is stalking you?” I asked myself. I sighed, irritated.“In broad day light? Only a moron would do that..” I hissed. I stared down at my feet, freezing for a moment.“or… someone that knows you and knows that they can get you without it looking suspicious…” I whispered. I sensed something about to touch me. I cringed, getting ready to turn around and face my attacker when my phone began ringing. I quickly picked it up as I spun around. Nothing remained in my view. Closing my eyes I sighed and turned back around. Realizing I was still on the phone, I quickly answered, beginning to walk off.“Hello?” I asked.“Hey. What’s going on?” Saul asked on the other line. I shook my head.“do you mean with the markings and the dreams?” I asked. Saul made a noise.“Sort of. My neck was feeling weird a few minutes ago.” He said. I froze.“My wrists were tingling…” I muttered.“Sure you weren’t having emo urges?” Saul asked. I made a clicking noise with my tongue to show my disapproval.“Gee. Thanks. What about you? Did you want to end your life because you couldn’t be with-” “SHUT IT!” Saul snarled on the phone. I raised an eyebrow.“Are you okay?” I asked. Saul sighed.“I think so. Sorry. This is just really confusing. I’ll call you later though. Melissa’s on the other line, asking about the sudden feeling I had. What should I tell her?” He asked. I shrugged, ignoring the fact he couldn’t see it.“Muscle spasm. They happen all the time to me.” I stated.“In your neck?” He asked, surprised. I rolled my eyes.“No Saul. In my ass. Yes my neck. What’s so strange about that?” I asked. Saul made a noise.“What ever. Talk to you later.” He muttered. “Toodles” I said, then clicked on the shiny red button on my phone. Just as I closed down that window, a notification popped up on my phone.“You’re being followed by Aquarius. Run” It stated. I turned around just in time to see a hand disappear. I stared at it, then looked around. I quickly pushed the phone back and began walking. I walked at a power walk speed, then suddenly bolted it to the cross walk. Pressing the button, I began cursing as the light was taking it’s own sweet time changing. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, then opened my eyes again. The light had changed. I dashed across the street, suddenly feeling more fit than before. I ran down the street until I reached my house. I shut my door quickly and sighed as I relaxed. I started up the stairs, announcing I was home, then sat down on my bed, gazing out the window. No puddles. I closed my eyes and leaned against the window. Just as I began relaxing, there was a loud tapping on my window. I leapt up and spun around, looking out. A boy wearing a t-shirt and jeans sat there, gazing in. His eyes shone a firey red as his white hair blew in front of his face, and two round horns circled on either side of his head he motioned for me to open the window. I stared at him and did as he said as he turned into flames and re-appeared in the bedroom. I stared at him, shocked. He smirked and stuck his tongue out at me.“Surprised to see me?” He asked, grinning. I raised an eyebrow.“Anyone would be. I have no idea who you are.” I stated. The boy sighed.“Right. Well, for starters, I’m known as Aries in this ‘group’. You’re Cancer.” He stated. I raised an eyebrow.“okay. I’m obviously sleeping so I’m just going to climb back into bed and try to wake up, ‘kay? Nice seeing you ‘Aries’” I said, backing up and climbing into bed, pulling the covers up over my head. I felt someone nudge me. I opened my eyes and pulled the covers back. I stared up into the now duller blue eyes of the boy. His horns had disappeared and his hair had changed into a black with blue in it, sporting a Josh Ramsey type look. He smirked, his snake bites glistening in the light that shone into the room.“You’re cute. No, I’m not a hallucination. I was an ordinary boy like you until last year when a meteor hit and I got this.” He stated, taking off his shirt and showing me his back. My face reddened as I gazed upon a line that ran all the way up his spine, curving into two semi-circles at the top. He turned around, pulling his shirt back on. He grinned.“Names’ Markus ” He stated. I sighed.“Taylor.” I stated. He smirked again.“Nice. Unisexual. Anyways, I wanted to tell you to watch out for the dark Aquarius. And we’ll keep in touch. Don’t worry. Keep in contact with Scorpio, the light Aquarius, Gemini and Leo. And remember. You’re the boss of the water.” He stated before bursting into flames and disappearing. I leapt up and stared at the slightly scalded carpet. I sighed, rubbing it into the ground.“He really needs to work on his exit…” I muttered, trying to eliminate the burnt smell before my mom realized it.
